on your web browser and use your MyTEDU credentials provided by the TED University for login.
Note: Enable compatibilty mode for version IE10+ browsers.
If you forget your password click "Password Forgotton" link and enter your username, surname, name, e-mail adress (that is provided by TED University) and click "Send". If the information provided matches with your existing account in the system, you will receive an e-mail with a temporary password which will allow you to set a new password for your account.
If that is your first login to MyTEDU Portal after resetting your password the system will ask you to determine a new password. Password should be at least 8 characters long and include an upper case letter, a lower case letter and a number.
2 - MyTEDU
MyTEDU Portal has 2-level menu structure on top where you can navigate between applications. There are five main links namely as Home, Courses(Modules), Advising, Employee Services and Pending Jobs.
2.1 - MyTEDU Home
MyTEDU > Home page has 3 widgets;
Documents or notifications that need to be shared with all academics are stored in this area. Click on the links to view details. This area is maintained centrally by Information Technology Department
Academician Portal Overview :
This is the area where quick access links and short descriptions to most popular applications within Portal are located. Instead of using the menu structure at the top you can use these links to navigate.
This is an online personal bookmark within MyTEDU Portal. When you want to add an application to you favorites click on the menu button on the right corner of the screen and select "add to portal favorites". This link is shown both on the left menu bar under portal favorites section and at your home screen.
2.2 - Courses (Modules)
This is one of the main navigational links placed under myTEDU which provides course related capabilities like class roster, record attendance, enter grades and so on with academicians.
The default page content displayed when clicked on courses (modules) is Class Roster application.
2.2.1 - Class Roster
Class roster enables academicians to list all students registered to a specific cource and section according to selected criteria like academic semester, department, module and section.
All registered students are listed as below in the picture. You may export all records to an excel file, send email to selected or all students, and filter according to any field.

E-mail is sent to selected students, when clicked on Send E-mail button.
E-mail is sent to all students listed when clicked on Send E-mail to All button.
Filter Listed Students
By pressing Filter link placed at right top corner, a new editable table row is seen at the top of the table. By entering a value and pressing enter key, any column may be filtered. By prefixing a phrase with a star (*) will result in values ending with specified phrase. Or suffixing a phrase with a star (*) will lead to result values starting with specified phrase. Similarly, prefixing and suffixing a phrase with a star (*) will lead to result values containing specified phrase. If no star is placed then the specified phrase will exactly be filtered.
Print Class Roster
By clicking on Print Attendance Sheet button, the class roster is exported to a pdf file for printing.
2.2.2 Record Attendance

2.2.3 Attendance Report
Attendance report provides capabilities for viewing attendance information related to specific Academic Year and Academic Session.
Academic Year and Academic Session are mandatory. Module Code and Business Event Name are optional. Report is generated by pressing Execute button placed at top right corner.
Selecting sample criteria is demonstrated step by step below.

By typing in search term like **101**, desired module may be searched. This criterion is optional.
Selecting Business Event Name:
Business Event Name criterion is also optional.
After selecting only academic year and academic session
, corresponding sample attendance report is generated.
For details, select any row and press "See Attendance Details"
button placed above so below table represantation will be displayed.
2.2.4 Create Assignment/Exam

Create Assignment/Exam is placed under MyTEDU -> Courses (Modules) -> Grading and provides capabilities for creating and editing assignments/exams. With appropriate selection criteria, desired course is found and then maintained.
After selecting object type and object name, Sess. Of Offering button is clicked to generate a result view similar to below. Maintenance is done via create new or edit button placed above table.
2.2.5 Enter Grades
Enter grades is placed under MyTEDU -> Courses (Modules) -> Grading and provides capabilities for entering grades.

2.2.6 Upload Grades
Upload grades is placed under MyTEDU -> Courses (Modules) -> Grading and provides capabilities for batch uploading grades.

2.2.7 Course Grade Sheet
Course Grade Sheet is placed under MyTEDU -> Courses (Modules) -> Grading and provides capabilities for viewing all grades for a specific module/section.
After selecting appropriate criteria like Academic Year, Academic Period, Program Type and Section, List button is clicked to generate course grade sheet.
By clicking on Print Version
button, all course grade sheet is prepared for print.
By clicking on Export->Export to Microsoft Excel button
, all course grade sheet is exported to an excel file.
By clicking on Filter
link placed at top right corner of the table, result course grade sheet may be filtered for some column values. When clicked on Filter link, a new editable table row is placed at the top of the table. The designated phrase may be filtered in any column with starting and/or ending star (*). Pressing the enter key will apply the filter. When clicked on Delete Filter link, all applied filter values disregarded and all results will be displayed.
By clicking on Settings
link placed at top right corner of the table, a new table settings area will be visible at top of the table and table settings may be done like some columns may not be visible, filter or sort specific columns.
by a specific column values may be done with clicking on the name of the column. Double clicking will change the order of sorting.
Advising related functionalities are placed under this item named as "My Advisees", "Registration" and "Course Quota Availability" relatively.
3.1. My Advisees
My Advisees is placed under MyTEDU -> Advising and consists of two parts as Advisor Worklist and Student Quick Search.
In advisor worklist, advisees may be listed and student info center is shown by clicking on Show Detail button or clicking on last name of any student.
In Student Quick Search, students may be searched with surname or student number. Student infor center will be displayed when clicking on last name of any student or selecting the row and pressing OK button
Advisor approvals are done via MyTEDU > Advising > Registration menu during registration period. For detailed information, Watch Video
3.3 Course Quota Availability
Academicians will be able to list all courses offered in selected academic year and period with capacity information as a report. This report may also be exported to an excel file by clickin on the button named Export -> Export to Excel
Current academic year and period will be selected by default and clicking on "List" button, report like below will be displayed. Course information like code, name, department, lecturer, room, schedule and capacity information all will be displayed from the table.
What capacities are displayed:
Capacity of course section that is maksimum number of students who can register to the course.
Capacity of room that maksimum number of students can be teached in the room.
Number of students whose course registration is approved by advisor.
Number of students whose course registration is waiting for advisor approval.
Number of students who added the course to their registration charts.
In addition, filtering may be done via filter line according to all seen column names. By clicking on Settings button, any columns can be hidden.
4. Employee Services
Placed under MyTEDU and provides capabilities for gaining knowledge of personal information, salary debited equipment.
4.1 Personal Information
Personal information of academician is displayed here. Standard information like name, birth date and place is displayed by default. If academician supplies communication information (email, office room number, office hours, office phone) or address information, these supplied information will be shown to corresponding advisees in student portal.
Personal detailed information may be displayed by clicking on the link placed just right to the name as figure of a glass.
When clicked on any data, a new panel will be shown for a new entry or edit of previously saved information. Below is how to define email information to system.
4.2 Salary Statement
Unofficial payroll information is displayed as pdf.
4.3 Debited Equipment Report
Debited equipment information is shown at this report. Report is generated depending on criteria selected.
There are 4 separately selectable check list according to which the report will be generated.
Eq. Debitted to My Self:
Equipments which are debitted to my self will be shown in the report.
Eq. Debitted to My Staff:
Equipments which are debitted to my staff will be shown in the report.
Eq. Debitted to My Organization Unit:
Equipments which are debitted to my organizational unit will be shown in the report.
All Eq. on My Area of Responsibility:
All equipments on my area of responsibility will be shown in the report.
Academics capabilities are available like viewing of course descriptions and offered courses, academic calendar and classrooms. Course descriptions application is shown by default.
5.1 Course Descriptions
Academic course catalog is shown after selecting criteria like Faculty / Institute, Department and Program.
By selecting Faculty / Institute, Department and Program, all courses will be displayed. Courses may be grouped under some logical structures.
5.2 Courses Offered
Before the course registrations for the new semester one should first check the courses offered for that semester. "Courses Offered " application is offered within MyTEDU Portal via Academics > Courses Offered menu.

5.3 Academic Calendar
Academic Calendar, which is currently active, is displayed. By clicking on link, academic calendar will be displayed in separate new window.
Classrooms information is displayed like information and schedule and availability. By default Information and Schedule application works.

6. Information Exchange
All common information and share of information is placed under Information Exchange link. There are four main items namely as Personal Folders, Shared Folders, Forum, WikiTEDia.
6.1 Personal Folders
Via the menu option Information Exchange > Personal Folders you can reach the area that is reserved for storing your personal documents. This is a service similar to online document store applications that you will be able to reach your stored files anywhere you have access to internet. There is a size limit as 25 mb per each file stored.

6.2 Shared Folders
TEDU Directory Service is provided by the SAP KM (Knowledge Management) module and can be reached via menu Information Exchange > Shared Folders
This service provides a document library to store all corporate documents produced within TEDU with an organized folder structure. Some of the functionalities provided within TEDU Directory service are;
- Permissions to each folder (Full Control, Read/Write, Read) can be organized
- Approval mechanisms can be set for each folder (this can be configured by the person that has full control on that folder) so that whenever someone uploads a document to the folder it has to be approved by a predefined person before it is visible to other people
- Folders or documents can be subscribed so that if any new document is created or changed a notification will be sent to you
- You can give feedback to the author, write a review or rate the document or folder
- Add folders as favorites so that you can reach them via the Portal Favorites menu on your MyTEDU Home page
You can reach these functionalities by clicking on symbol at the bottom right corner of the folder name and selecting "Details" option.
Please consult to the Information Technology Department for setting up a new folder or requesting the admin (Full Control) permission for an existing folder. The default setting for the existing folders are everyone has Read.

Information Exchange > Forum is the menu option to reach forum home site that you can find and navigate all existing forums created within MyTEDU Portal.
Please consult to the Information Technology Department for setting up a new forum and requesting admin (Full Control) permission.

Information Exchange > WikiTEDia is the menu option to reach WikiTEDia home site that you can find and navigate all existing wiki's created within MyTEDU Portal.
Most of the user documents for University IT applications are reached via thsi wiki.
Please consult to the Information Technology Department for setting up a new wiki space and requesting admin (Full Control) permission.

7. Help & Support
Making any request and following the status of the requests are done via Help & support link which consists of two sub parts namely as Request Help and My Requests.
7.1 Request Help
You can create a service request for IT Support via the menu option Help and Support > Request Help
When creating the request selecting the right Request Category is critical since the requests are forwarded to the service staff via this category info. For getting a quick response it is important that your request is forwarded to the right person. You are allowed to define an Impact and Urgency for you request but this can be reorganized after the first evaluation by the service staff. So please try to be fair and do not forget that you are using a limited resource that is serving all TEDU staff and students.
You can also attach files for error messages you face with while using an application.

7.2 My Requests
You will be informed by mail about the progress of your service request but you can reach your service requests already in process via the menu option Help and Support > My Requests
